Spunky - the Roller Kitteh

I named this one Spunky, she seemed always ready for some mischief and didn’t seem to care about the consequences. In fact I think she enjoyed being spanked afterwards nearly as much as she enjoyed what-ever bit of naughtiness she performed to deserve the spanking. I still can’t figure out where she got the dyes she used in her hair and on her tail.

Anyways I was looking into rollerblades as a possible exercise and wanted a partner. I figured I’d give Spunky a chance as the other girls all seemed really perturbed by the idea of having the world moving beneath their feet and not being able to latch on with their claws to make it stop. I kept mine off to give her a stable platform to grab onto, and started with the knee and arm braces – she refused the helmet as she seems to hate having anything pressing against her ears.

She watched me lace her into everything with keen interest, and once I got her up on her feet she caught on to how to control her movements very quickly. She made some happy meowing noises at me as she circled me while getting used to the blades. Then she gave me one of her “can’t catch me!” looks and took off. I scrambled to get my own blades on so I could give chase. Tag is one of her favorite games. I wasn’t too worried about her head start, I know that she loves the game enough that she’d wait somewhere nearby for me to get close before scrambling off again. She likes being chased a lot more than simply escaping. I also know that she loves getting caught in the end.
