Description

Iolo the Bard plays while his lover and pet, Seraphina dances for his pleasure.

Iolo the Bard and Seraphina the Dancing Rogue. Iolo was a character I created for a D&D game I was playing, Seraphina was his cohort. Iolo was a High Elf of Noble birth who was out in the world studying the lives of the folk who lived in the lands around his homeland. His goal was to increase his skills in the Bardic arts of Magic and War so that he could lead his people in their ongoing conflict against the tribes that were threatening the Elven Homeland.

Seraphina was an orphaned Elf who was raised by Human Gypsies. They trained her in the gypsy lifestyle and morals. For many decades she was "younger daughter" in a compania where she was older than anyone else. But her small size, and apparent youth kept her from being recognized as an Elder. She decided she didn't mind this so much as long as she had her adopted families love. But still, she felt like an outsider. Then one day while she was taking a little time to herself, she was grabbed by slavers who thought that a gypsy-raised elf would sell for much gold.

Iolo discovered the camp of the slavers while he was wandering. As an Elf he felt intense distaste for those who treated others like animals against their will. Seeing their mistreatment of the beautiful Elven Girl was even worse. The things HUMANS did to each other was unbelievable, but that they'd dare do it to an ELF? But he also recognized that he was only one Elf, and he didn't have the raw talent to take them all on alone. So he did what he knew best, he went in, acting like he belonged there, and demanded to talk to the "slave girls" owner. After a fierce negotiation Iolo left the camp with Sera on a leash, and documents from the slavers naming him as her owner.

When they were far enough from the slavers Iolo offered to free her, but Sera, who'd never seen another Elf before in her life, begged him to keep her and protect her in return for her service to him. Iolo thought about this for a while, and agreed.

Over the next few years they developed a loving - if strange to others - Master/slave relationship. He prizes her above his own life, and she responds to this with utter devotion.

Sera is still very much the Gypsy: Live for today, let tomorrow worry about itself. She trusts that Iolo will take care of her. Iolo loves her for her attitude of utter freedom, but he's not afraid to curb her in when she needs a good spanking to remind her to take care. And he's always the one who is planning for their future.

As a Noble-born Iolo has always believed he was DUE the service of others. Seraphina was raised to serve her family, and now Iolo IS her family, so serving him comes naturally to her. To THEM, it all makes perfect sense that she wears HIS collar. To Iolo it's a sign to the world that she's under his protection, to her it's a sign of her contract to serve him with devotion. He takes immense pleasure in owning a creature that is so lovely, she takes pleasure in being owned by one who cherishes her.
